Rough Sawn & and planed wood fencing boards from GG Timbers
If treated poles are planted in the ground, it is important to allow for drainage of rainwater. Please visit www.sawpa.co.za for more information on the correct ways to plant your cca treated poles.
If poles are cut, the untreated heartwood of the pole is exposed and should be re-sealed with a suitable preservative such as creosote. Anti-split plates should be used on the cut end and also avoid planting the pole with the cut end in the ground.
